We've taken the unfortunate decision to suspend the meet and greet sessions for the time being, hopefully as things settle down and the current upturn in infection rates starts to reduce we'll be able to review the position and re-open again in the new year.
Keeping our guests safe is our main priority, so we’ve been put social distancing and health and safety measures in place to ensure that you and our staff are safe throughout our experiences. These include:
Clearly marking our carpark to ensure social distancing.
Holding our pre-trek briefings in an open space where guests can maintain 2 metres of distance between them.
Having alcohol hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities on site.
Giving trek leaders hand sanitiser to carry with them for guests' use.
Providing face masks and nitrile gloves for all guests.
Sanitising all trekking equipment before and after every trek.
If you would like to book a trek for your family who all live in the same household, you will be able to share a llama or alpaca. If you do not all live in the same household, to adhere to social distancing rules, you will have to book one llama or alpaca for each walker.
Animals can at times be unpredictable, and if a guest needs assistance, our trek leaders may have to intervene and come closer than 2 metres to the guest. If you have concerns about this possibility, please let us know when you book.
If you have any questions or concerns about any of this information, please get in touch and we’d be more than happy to talk through everything.
